    A solid 2008 spring sports season has reaped individual rewards for 28 Wittenberg University athletes who were selected to All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) teams over the last two weeks.

    CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Ohio Wesleyan men won their fifth team title, and first since 2001, at the NCAC Championships, held at Ohio Wesleyan on May 1-2. The Battling Bishops captured eight first and 12 other top-three finishes to total 236 points and outdistance five-time defending champion Allegheny (150), Wabash (148.5), Oberlin (74) and Wooster (59) in the men's field. The Allegheny women claimed their 13th NCAC crown with 268 points. Defending champion Ohio Wesleyan wound up second with 199 points, followed by Oberlin (134), Wooster (86) and Denison (50). The Gators won 10 events and had 14 other top-three finishes.
