Baseball Fall Prospect Camp I

The Wittenberg Tigers Baseball Program will be hosting a fall baseball Prospect Camp on Saturday August 31, 2024. The camp will be held from 12pm-4pm for high school student's grades 9-12 (grad years 2025-2028) at beautiful Carleton Davidson Stadium, home of the Wittenberg Tigers. The cost of the camp is $95 with a deadline to register of Sunday August 25, 2024. Campers will receive high end instruction while having the opportunity to showcase their baseball skills in front of Head Coach Brian McGee and the rest of the Tigers baseball coaching staff. Current Wittenberg baseball student athletes will also be on site interacting with the campers and answering questions about what it’s like to be a Wittenberg Tiger. We hope to see you there, Tiger Up!

  • Campers may select up to two specific position areas only.  (Examples - RHP/SS, or C/OF, etc.)
  • Campers are required to provide their own personal equipment (bat, batting helmet, glove, catchers gear, etc.), and wear proper baseball attire including pants, belts, and caps. 
  • Sunflower seeds or any tobbaco products will NOT be permitted inside the stadium grounds.

  • Please note, once registered you will receive emails as we get closer to the actual camp date with further pertinent information
  • There are no refunds for cancelations after the deadline of Sunday August 25, 2023.

Wittenberg Women's Basketball presents a Youth Skills & Drills Camp! All games will take place in our HWA Center that includes our newly renovated Pam Evans Smith Arena
and 1929 Gymnasium. There is a total of 5 full-size courts; 3 in the Arena and 2 in the Gymnasium.

Wittenberg Men's Basketball Camps

Prospect Camp

Wittenberg Men's Basketball is offering the opportunity to receive elite college level coaching and instruction. The primary focus will be to build offensive skills through drills and game simulated repetitions that are able to be taken and applied beyond the camp. Our coaching staff will provide feedback and instruction that is specific to each individual. Not only will you receive high quality coaching and repetitions, but you will experience it on the campus of the NCAA Division III all-time winningest basketball program in the country.

Wittenberg will also provide a recruiting presentation about the program, an admissions presentation about the school, a campus tour and a tour of athletic facilities. Current players will also be around to mentor and guide prospects, as well as take part in a Q and A segment to speak about their experience of their own recruitment.

Comprehensive Skills Camp Page

Our Comprehensive Skills Camp focuses on fundamental basketball skill instruction and concepts of team play. That includes passing, dribbling, shooting, individual offense and defense, and rebounding as primary instruction areas. Camper to instructor ratio is no more than 11 campers to 1 instructor., all camp activity takes place indoors across a total of 5 courts and 20 baskets with 3 courts and 14 baskets located in air-conditioned gymnasiums. The camp offers daily 3/3 and 5/5 competitive play with tournaments in both 3/3 and 5/5
conducted on the final day of camp. There is a maximum of 9 players per 5/5 camp team.

Team Shootouts

All teams are guaranteed 4 games. Our shootouts are limited to 20 teams per day, which ensures teams will play every other hour. Registration is open to any and all varsity boys basketball teams. Teams will be registered on a first come, first serve basis - fully registered with payment. Teams will be matched up based on divisions. We divide teams up into 2 Pools (WHITE & RED Division). The first round of games start at 9AM and the last round of games start around 5PM.

Field Hockey 2024 Overnight Summer Camp

Join the Wittenberg Field Hockey coaching staff and current members of the team June 21st-23rd for our overnight camp. We look forward to having you on campus!

The Wittenberg Field Hockey Overnight Camp is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. on Friday, June 21, and Saturday, June 22, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, on the campus of Wittenberg University. The camp is open to anyone in grades 9-12. This camp will develop everything from basic skills to elite skills and tactics. This includes individual skills, goal-scoring, small games, and scrimmaging. We will also include goalie-specific training. We will be providing a competitive environment with a focus on energy and effort with a lot of fun!

Camp cost is $325. All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment including, but not limited to, the following: Pillow, bedding, towels, toiletries, shorts, shirts, socks, turf shoes, shin guards, mouth guard, stick, and water bottle. No equipment will be provided to ANY camper. Wittenberg Field Hockey pinnies will be provided. Housing will be provided for campers in a Wittenberg dorm. All meals will be covered by camp starting with lunch on June 21st through breakfast on June 23rd.

Wittenberg Football Prospect Camp 2024

Our Wittenberg Football Camp is intended for HS boys entering grades 10-12 in the fall of 2024 who are looking to play at the next level.

Our Wittenberg Football Camp is designed to provide our participants with new skill development and elevate their football IQ, with an experience similar to that of our Wittenberg Football student-athletes. The camp sessions are similar to our Wittenberg Football practices. This is a unique opportunity that our Wittenberg Football prospects will not want to miss.

Wittenberg Women's Soccer Summer ID Camp

Camp Description: Our Summer ID Camp is designed to provide those interseted in pursuing a soccer career at the collegiate level with a fun and competitive environment where they can grow their skill set and learn the Wittenberg Women's Soccer Way. Both the on field and classroom sessions used throughout the camp mimic what we use with our players here at Wittenberg. All sessions will be run by our Coaching Staff and our current Student-Athletes will be at camp to help participants throughout the few days they are here. This camp will begin on Wednesday afternoon and concludes on Friday late morning. The camp will include a Wittenberg Soccer T-Shirt, multiple on field and classroom sessions, all meals and overnight expenses covered.

Wittenberg Men's Soccer Summer ID Camp

Date: July 20, 2024
Time: 1:30-4:30 p.m.

Experience what Wittenberg University and the men’s soccer program have to offer. Camp includes a campus tour, Q&A and training with the Wittenberg coaching staff.

You'll experience an actual Wittenberg training session and play in our state of the art Steemer facility, the game changer in Division III athletics.

This camp is not a tryout, rather an introduction to Witt. After the camp, those with interest will schedule a one on one formal visit.

Serve and Pass Camp

In 2024 we will be offering our first ever Serve and Pass Camp!! It is often said that serving and passing are the two most important skills in volleyball. These "first contact" skills set the tone for a rally. This camp will provide detailed technique training for passing that will include training with our high tech serving machines ("the cannons"). The camp will also dive into detailed technique training for different types of serves and serving strategies!

Positional Camp - Hitters

Our Positional Camps will focus only on the skill sets that apply to each position. This will allow us to get much more detailed in our training than the All Skills Camp. The Hitter Camp will train all hitters on attacking fundamentals, how to hit a variety of sets, and how to improve their range. Hitters will also learn high level blocking technique. If you want to focus on how to improve as a hitter, this is the camp for you!

Camp Description: Our Positional Camps will focus only on the skill sets that apply to each position. This will allow us to get much more detailed in our training than the All Skills Camp. Setters and Liberos will be trained separately. Setters can expect to focus on many aspects of setting technique, setting a variety of sets/tempos, and setter attacks. Liberos can expect to focus on many aspects of serve receive, defense, second hands setting, and serving. Setters and Liberos, this is the camp for you!

College Prospect Camp

Our College Prospect Camp is designed to capture the experience of a Wittenberg Men?s Volleyball player and is only for 10th-12th graders that are looking to play collegiate volleyball. Training sessions will be designed like collegiate practices and campers will be coached on concepts that will prepare them to play at the next level. In addition to a high-level of play, campers will also experience a photo op, campus tour, recruiting Q&A session, and a film session.

Our College Prospect Camp is designed to capture the experience of a Wittenberg Men’s Volleyball player and is only for 10th-12th graders that are looking to play collegiate volleyball. Training sessions will be designed like collegiate practices and campers will be coached on concepts that will prepare them to play at the next level. In addition to a high-level of play, campers will also experience a photo op, campus tour, recruiting Q&A session, and a film session. This is a unique opportunity that our Wittenberg Men’s Volleyball prospects will not want to miss. Commuter and one day options are available!

When: July 25 & 26, 2024

Cost: $275 Overnight Campers, $200 Commuter Campers

Our All Skills camp provides instruction that covers all aspects of the game. Athletes will be trained in the basic fundamentals of serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and digging. For that reason, this is the perfect camp for new and younger volleyball players! Campers will be grouped based on age and skill level. So this can also be a great opportunity for older/more skilled volleyball players looking to refine their skills!

Camp Description: Our All Skills camp provides instruction that covers all aspects of the game. Athletes will be trained in the basic fundamentals of serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking, and digging. For that reason, this is the perfect camp for new and younger volleyball players! Campers will be grouped based on age and skill level. So this can also be a great opportunity for older/more skilled volleyball players looking to refine their skills!
