Three Tigers earn All-NCAC recognition in Women’s Lacrosse

SPRINGFIELD — Wittenberg seniors Jessica Flick (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) and Zoe Chirumbolo McKee (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) and junior Sidney Sheridan (Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Hartley) earned All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors in women's lacrosse for the 2024 season through balloting by the league's head coaches.

Flick and Sheridan were named to the All-NCAC Second Team at attack and goalkeeper, respectively, and Chirumbolo McKee was a Third Team selection on defense.

Flick is now a two-time All-NCAC selection after earning honorable mention honors as a sophomore in 2022. She closed the 2024 season leading the Tigers in points (79), goals (66) and assists (13). She posted 13 hat tricks in starting all 16 games while adding 15 ground balls, 10 caused turnovers and 17 draw controls. She recorded 23 points on 20 goals and three assists for an average of 3.83 points in six conference games.

Flick has started all 57 games she has played at Wittenberg and has totals of 179 points on 152 goals and 27 assists with 29 hat tricks. She ranks fifth in program history in goals and is tied for seventh all-time in points while adding 64 ground balls, 26 caused turnovers and 47 draw controls.

Sheridan played in 15 games with seven starts as one of the Tigers' two primary goalkeepers in 2024. She led the team in goalie minutes (454:26) and saves (112) while posting a 13.86 GAA and .516 save percentage. She recorded 72 saves in conference play.

Sheridan has played in 47 games with 25 starts at Wittenberg and has 334 career saves with a 14.77 GAA and .475 save percentage. She ranks sixth in program history in career saves.

Chirumbolo McKee started all 16 games this season and led the team in both caused turnovers (33) and ground balls (43). She recorded 13 caused turnovers and 21 ground balls in conference play.

In 49 career games at Wittenberg, including 48 starts, Chirumbolo McKee has 73 caused turnovers and 106 ground balls to go with one goal and 59 draw controls. She ranks sixth all-time at Wittenberg in caused turnovers.

The Tigers opened the 2024 season with three straight victories and finished 6-10 overall under third-year head coach Becca Joseph.
