Three Wittenberg University student-athletes and Men's and Women's Tennis Head Coach Justin Stuckey attended an NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Regional Leadership Conference in Chicago, Jan. 23-25.

One of the most successful fall sports seasons in Wittenberg history was capped by a tremendous haul of postseason awards from the North Coast Athletic Conference.

Unfortunately for the Wittenberg Tigers, history does repeat itself. Nearly five years to the day after the Ohio Northern Polar Bears pulled off an improbable 3-2 comeback victory in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional championship match, they did it again, this time in the semifinals of the regional.

The Wittenberg Tigers continued their late-season surge with a 3-0 victory over Muskingum in the final first round match of the 2008 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region Tournament at Wittenberg's Pam Evans Smith Arena.

Senior Jackie Williams has been named Player of the Year for the second consecutive year to highlight the 2008 All-NCAC volleyball selections. Williams, a 6-1 outside hitter, led the conference during the regular season with a .379 hitting percentage (256 kills, 53 errors, 535 attempts), and was third in kills per game (3.01).

The No. 5 ranked Wittenberg University volleyball team has been selected to compete in the NCAA Division III Tournament for the 13th consecutive year and the 14th time in school history. The Tigers, who have been selected to host the Great Lakes Regional Tournament for the fifth time in the last six years, open their quest for the first national title in program history at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, against Muskingum.

The Wittenberg Tigers put the wraps on the 2008 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) competition, taking down visiting Hiram in the NCAC Tournament championship match, 3-0.

The Wittenberg Tigers put the finishing touches on another tremendous regular season with a 3-0 sweep of North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) rival Denison. Afterwards, the Tigers celebrated Head Coach Paco Labrador and his 200th career victory in just his 226th career match.

It was no ordinary celebration following the Wittenberg volleyball team's 3-0 win at Denison on Friday, Oct. 31. Not only did the Tigers put the finishing touches on another tremendous regular season with records of 30-2 overall and 16-0 in the NCAC, Head Coach Paco Labrador reached an individual milestone by capturing the 200th win of his career.

The Wittenberg Tigers inched closer to the finish line Wednesday with a 3-0 win at Earlham.

The Wittenberg Tigers sent its four seniors out on a high note with a pair of 3-0 wins over North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) rival Hiram and Capital on Senior Recognition Day in Pam Evans Smith Arena.

The Wittenberg Express continued to steamroll through the 2008 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) competition as the Tigers clinched at least a share of the regular season title with a 3-0 win over visiting Allegheny.
