SPRINGFIELD — Wittenberg senior Jessica Flick (Lebanon, Ohio/Lebanon) was named the North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 19-25.

This marks Flick's first career NCAC Player of the Week accolade.

The recognition comes after she scored a game-high five goals to lead Wittenberg to a season-opening 17-7 victory over Muskingum on Saturday, marking the team's first win since March 29, 2023, and first season-opening win since the 2019 season.

Flick, an All-NCAC Honorable Mention selection as a sophomore, scored four of the team's six first-quarter goals against the Muskies and added one more in the third quarter.

She now has 105 career points on 91 goals and 14 assists. She is 47 points shy of entering the program's all-time top-10 list in that category.

The Tigers return to action on Wednesday hosting Mount St. Joseph at 6 p.m. indoors at The Steemer.
