Tigers Fall in Close Road Match

Danville, KY- Wittenberg headed to Kentucky to take on the Colonels of Centre College. The last time the Red & White saw Centre in action was 2019 with a close three-point match. Wittenberg again would see tough competition and while outscoring the Colonels in the final period, the Tigers fell with a score of 13-11.

Highlights- Wittenberg put 11 points on the board, being led by senior Hannah Feder with four goals on the day followed by Mya Wolfe with three. The Tigers were able to score in each quarter with their highest scoring period coming in the fourth with five goals. Scoring for Wittenberg were Anna Roller, Wolfe (3), Alyssa Burnside, Katie Wadds, Feder (4), and Grace Hehman.

Splitting time in goal for the Tigers were Gabrielle Weckerly and Sidney Sheridan. The pair had a total of 17 saves, facing 30 shots on the day. Defensively, the Tigers picked up 19 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers.
