Williams wins the high jump to lead Women's Outdoor Track and Field on Day 2 of Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic

LYNCHBURG, Va. — Junior Julissa Williams (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain) won the high jump to lead the Wittenberg women's outdoor track and field team on Saturday on Day 2 of the two-day Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic hosted by the University of Lynchburg.

  • Williams won the high jump with a mark of 1.60 meters.
  • Junior Meghan Frazier (Alliance, Ohio/Alliance) finished second in the 200 meters in 25.36 seconds. She added a third-place finish in the 100 meters in 12.25 seconds.
  • Frazier joined juniors Zora Shakhan (Pickerington, Ohio/Central), Lindsey Magoteaux (Sidney, Ohio/Lehman Catholic) and Haleigh Willison (Crooksville, Ohio/Crooksville) on Wittenberg's 4x100 relay team that placed third in 49.19 seconds.
  • Sophomore Aidan Orth (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) posted third-place finishes in three events. She was third in the hammer throw with a mark of 41.87 meters, the shot put with a mark of 11.89 meters and the discus with a mark of 36.90 meters.
  • Sophomore Tymeerah De'Armond (Springfield, Ohio/Springfield) finished second in the 400 meters in 58.48 seconds.
  • Graduate student Morgan Ely (Sidney, Ohio/Houston) finished second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 12:16.04.
  • Willison was fourth in the 200 in 25.65 seconds, and Shakhan was seventh in the 100 in 12.71 seconds.
  • Junior Reese Neumeyer (Whitehouse, Ohio/Anthony Wayne) was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.83 seconds and sixth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:08.92.
  • Sophomore Abbey Danne (Johnstown, Ohio/Big Walnut) was fourth in the 400 in 59.81 seconds, and sophomore Tiffany Hix (Prospect, Ohio/Elgin) was fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 10.85 meters.
  • Freshman Haley Troy (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles in 15.94 seconds, and sophomore Emma Doerman (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) was sixth in the shot put with a mark of 10.79 meters.
