Tigers Compete At Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic

Lynchburg, VA – The Wittenberg Tiger Men's & Women's Track & Field team competed at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic this weekend, hosted by Lynchburg University.

Meghan Frazier got her weekend started with a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash, posting a time of 25.24.

Tymeerah De'Armond tabbed a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash for the Tigers, clocking a time of 58.64.

Sydney Khosla secured the top spot in the 5000-meter run, stopping the clock with a winning time of 17:25.29.

Julissa Williams added a second-place finish for the Tiger women's team in the high jump event, clearing the bar at 1.60 meters.

The Tigers finished back-to-back in the long jump event, with Lainee Valentine taking fourth-place and Tiffany Hix earning a fifth-place finish. Valentine completed a jump of 4.92 meters. Hix was close behind with a leap of 4.91m. Kara Owens secured a sixth-place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 9.20m.

Aidan Orth earned a pair of second place finishes in the shot put competition and discus throw. Orth took second in shot put with a toss of 11.88m, before adding another second-place finish in discus with a heave of 36.85m. Sadie Knostman earned a fifth-place finish in the discus competition, with a toss of 36.45m.
