Tigers Drop NCAC Opener at Ohio Wesleyan

Delaware, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger women's volleyball team suffered a tough 3-2 (17-25, 16-25, 25-20, 25-16, 9-15), road loss at Ohio Wesleyan against the Battling Bishops to open North Coast Athletic Conference action over the weekend.

Wittenberg dropped the first two sets to the Bishops, battling back to take the third and fourth sets and slowing the Ohio Wesleyan attack.

Alana Bartulovic tallied a team-high 15 kills on the day on 44 swings, adding four block assists. Kait Colahan added a career-high in both kills and hitting-percentage, putting down 11 kills logging a .550 clip.

Mack Ricketts kept the Tiger offense in motion with 22 of the Tiger's 44 assists on the afternoon, adding a team-high 21 digs.

Ava Golem added 20 digs and six assists. Kendall Black put down six block assists with three kills, adding four digs.
