Catholic Central High School:
Rachel is a 1998 graduate of Catholic Central High School. While attending Catholic Central Rachel earned four varsity letters in swimming. She was a High School all-American in the 200 freestyle and also as a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay. Rachel was a two-time Ohio State Championship qualifier in the 200 and 500 freestyle and was a State finalist in the 500 freestyle. Rachel was also a USA Swimming Junior National qualifier in the 200, 500, 1000, and 1650 freestyle events. Rachel was also a member of the National Honor Society and an officer on Student Council.

Wittenberg University:
Rachel is swimming for her first year at Wittenberg University. She is second year transfer student from Miami University of Ohio. Rachel is a Early Childhood and Special Education major. In the 1999-2000 academic year Rachel was named ot the Deans list.

Personal Information:
Rachel was born September 29, 1979. She is the daughter of Joseph Juergens and Joanna Juergens. Rachel is the youngest of six siblings who all have swam competitively.
