Austin, TX - On Tuesday, July 8, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) named 45 total student-athletes to the 2024-25 Division III Academic All-America Women’s At-Large teams. Senior golfer Hillary Humbaugh (Haudstadt, IN / Gibson Southern) earned third-team honors as the lone Wittenberg student-athlete to be named to the team.
This past season, Humbaugh shot a round average of 81.6 and helped lead the team to six top-five finishes on the season, including a third-place finish at the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championship. She also notched a number one individual finish at the Eva Shorb Weiskopf Invitational at Wooster earlier in the season.
Humbaugh was one of six Tigers selected to the Academic All-District Women's At-Large honor roll last month. At that time, she was selected as an Academic All-America® finalist and advanced to a competitive national ballot that was decided by votes cast by CSC members.
Humbaugh is the first student-athlete representing Wittenberg Women's Golf to earn Academic All-America honors. Wittenberg has had more than 50 student-athletes named Academic All-America since the program's inception in 1952. Click here to learn more
