Women's Golf Celebrates 2021 Seniors

Springfield, OH - The Wittenberg University women's golf team competed in their third conference match over the weekend against the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan University and the Denison Big Red at Oakhaven Golf Club in Delaware, Ohio. The Tigers returned to Springfield Country Club on a rainy Sunday afternoon for a dual match with the Battling Bishops. The Tigers secured a second-place finish on Saturday, finishing with a 365 (+77) at the Oakhaven Golf Club. Host, Ohio Wesleyan finished in third, ending the day with a 393 (+105) and the Big Red set the pace with a low score of 331 (+43). Ellen Frame and Erin Adams set the pace for Wittenberg finishing tied for third-place and tied for fifth place on Saturday. Frame posted the low score for Wittenberg with an 18-hole round of 86 (+14). Adams finished right behind her fellow Tiger, posting a score of 88 (+16). 

The Tigers returned to Springfield Country Club on a rainy Sunday afternoon for a dual match with the Battling Bishops. The Tigers were able to bounce back and take home first place with a score of 338 (+50). The Tigers were led by Frame and Adams once again. Frame took home first-place posting a season-low score of 76 (+4) and Adams finished in second place with a score of 80 (+8). Other notable finishers for the Tigers include Jordan Jarrett, Elizabeth Uhl, and Morgan Pagel. Jarrett and Uhl finished tied for fourth place with scores of 91 (+19) and Pagel finished right behind her fellow Tigers with a 97 (+25).
