Less than three weeks after throwing her last pitch for the Wittenberg Tiger softball team, Brooke Boswell, class of 2010 from Hamilton, Ohio, received a most appropriate graduation gift.

Brooke Boswell, class of 2010 from Hamilton, Ohio, did it all for the Wittenberg softball team over the last four years, and she was recently accorded yet another award from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) with third-team All-Central Region honors.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Wittenberg placed four student-athletes on the 2010 All-North Coast Athletic Conference softball honor roll, led by junior Jessi Allen (Naperville, Ill./Neuqua Valley) and sophomore Tori Amicon (Galloway, Ohio/Hilliard Darby) on the first team.

Wittenberg University softball standout Cameron Catalfu, class of 2010 from Loveland, Ohio, has been recognized for the combination of her athletic and academic accomplishments with second-team CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America College Division All-District IV honors.

GRANVILLE, Ohio — After winning two games back-to-back on Friday to march to the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Championship Game, the NCAC Tournament Title was just not in the cards as the Tigers dropped Game 2 to Denison by a final score of 6-2. The Big Red took the title and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Div. III Tournament.

HIRAM, Ohio — Already assured of a spot in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament, the Wittenberg softball team played Hiram College on the road Saturday in a doubleheader with large implications for their regular season place. The Tigers dropped both ends by scores of 6-2 and 4-0, falling to 8-6 in the NCAC and 17-19 overall.
