    The Wittenberg men's and women's cross country teams finished their season at the Great Lakes Regional Meet held at Hanover College. The Tigers, coming off the NCAC meet two weeks ago at Earlham College, ran well in the season finale, finishing 26th in the women's competition and 27th in the men's competition.

    DELAWARE, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers turned in a respectable 14th place finish among a loaded men's NCAA Division III field at the All-Ohio Invitational, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University. The Tiger women ran as individuals in the open division race.

The Tiger men placed eighth in a tough 13-team field, while the women, led by 12th-place individual finisher Christine Maddox (Miamisburg, Ohio/Miamisburg), captured sixth place among 11 teams entered.

    SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — For the fourth consecutive year, the Allegheny men were predicted to claim the NCAC championship after annual preseason balloting by North Coast Athletic Conference cross country coaches. The Denison women were picked as preseason favorites for the second straight year, but the coaches also tabbed Oberlin as a contender for the title.
