Marcus Rixon is a native of Portsmouth, England and has a rich heritage of soccer, both playing and coaching.  He holds the UEFA B license, a BA degree in Sport Science and Education from Canterbury Christ University College and a post graduate Certificate in Education from Portsmouth University. 

His desire to see the world pushed him to apply for the foreign exchange program where he spent two years in Springfield, Ohio playing for Northeastern HS. Upon returning home to England, he completed the FA Level 1 and Level 2 certifications and then earned the UEFA B license. 

Marcus’ coaching career includes five years at Basingstoke, as well as time with Portsmouth FC Academy, Chelsea FC Ladies Academy, Havant & Waterlooville U19 Academy and Eastleigh FC achieving levels of success that continued his rise within the profession. 

While in the USA, Marcus has been an Academy Coach with the Classic Eagles SC; The PDL Men’s Head Coach and DOC with Dayton Dutch Lions and with Metro FC in Dayton. 

Marcus is married to Anja, a former Wittenberg student, and has 2 children, Morgan 20 and Harvey 16.
