Men's Lacrosse Notches First Win of the Season
Muskingum, OH-The Wittenberg Tigers traveled to Muskingum to take on the Fighting Muskies of Muskingum, looking to get their first win of the season. After losing their first two games by two and five goals, respectively, the Tigers were able to get their first win, defeating Muskingum by a score of 12-7. With the win, the Tigers move to 1-2 on the season, while the Fighting Muskies drop to 2-4.
In the first quarter, the Tigers were able to net four goals to Muskingum's two, with Nathan Brown (Dublin, OH / Coffman) scoring the first goal of the game only six minutes in. Then, in the second quarter, both teams only scored one goal, sending the teams into half with Wittenberg holding a 5-3 lead. In the third, Brown found the back of the net twice more, and the Tigers totaled five goals in the quarter while Muskingum only netted one. In the fourth quarter, the Fighting Muskies scored three in a row in hopes of mounting a comeback, but with three minutes left Ethan Pac (Greenwood, In / Cathedral) scored an insurance goal for Wittenberg, and with just over a minute left, freshman Clay Habben (Shawnee, KS / Shawnee Mission Northwest) scored the last goal of the game to secure the first win of the season for the Tigers.

- Brown lead the team in goals with four, while Pac and Habben each had two apiece.
- Ty Harris (Cincinnati, OH / Sycamore) paced the team with two assists and four other players logged one.
