Tiger Men's Lacrosse Falls 16-10 in Neutral Contest Against Aurora University
Wittenberg traveld to DePauw to take on the Spartans of Aurora in the non-conference season finale.
GREENCASTLE, Indiana- Wittenberg men's lacrosse ended their season in 2016 with a neutral site game against the Spartans from Aurora University. Saturday's game was played at DePauw University as the Tigers and Spartans traveled "half-way" to play the out of conference tilt. Wittenberg could not keep up with Aurora's offense attack in the game, dropping the contest 16-10. One of the ten Tiger goals was a historic one, as Thomas Fuss (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) collected his 115th career goal for the Tigers, tying the all-time record for goals in a career. Wittenberg concludes there season with an 8-7 mark, and a 4-4 NCAC record.
GAME BREAKDOWN
- Wittenberg fell behind early to the Spartans, trailing 5-0 after the first quarter.
