Wahle Promoted To Associate Head Coach

Heading into his fifth season with the Tigers, Wittenberg University men's basketball assistant coach Nathan Wahle has been promoted to Associate Head Coach. Since joining the Tiger staff in 2015, Wahle has helped guide the red and white to a 83-30, including a 50-22 North Coast Athletic Conference record. During his time on the Wittenberg sidelines, Wahle has helped contribute to an NCAC regular-season title, which included a 22-game winning streak during the 2017-18 season. During this time the Tiger's have also captured back-to-back NCAC tournament titles, with back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances.

"This is a well-deserved recognition for Nathan and all that he has meant to the program the last 4 years. He has been involved in every aspect of the program and played a major role in our on-court and recruiting successes. He is a terrific mentor to our athletes," said Head Coach Matt Croci.

Wittenberg will open the season on the road at Brooklyn College on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 3:00 PM.
