January 03, 2008SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — While studying physiology with Professor of Psychology Jo Wilson as a freshman at Wittenberg University, Erin Berger, class of 2010 from Louisville, Ky., had a revelation. After learning more about neurological diseases, including Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, Berger, who carries a 4.0 grade point average, realized she could make a difference. -

News Release: Tigers Picked To Finish Third In NCAC Preseason Poll
August 27, 2007SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — Defending NCAC tournament champion Kenyon has emerged as the favorite in preseason balloting by NCAC field hockey coaches. The Ladies paced all teams in the poll with five of seven first-place votes for 46 points, topping defending NCAC champion Wooster, which totalled 34 points. Wittenberg finished third with 30 points. -
2007 Season Outlook
August 27, 2007The Wittenberg University field hockey program enters the 2007 season with plenty of optimism, thanks in part to a strong senior class that is motivated to return to the top of the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) after second-place finishes the last two years and a potentially dynamic freshman class that includes several immediate contributors.
