Frazier leads Women's Outdoor Track and Field at Landon Bond Classic

BEREA, Ky. — Junior Meghan Frazier (Alliance, Ohio/Alliance) won one event and placed second in another to lead the Wittenberg women's track and field team on Saturday at the Landon Bond Classic hosted by Berea College.

Wittenberg's Top Performers

  • Frazier won the 400 in 57.33 seconds to lead four Tigers in the top six of the event. Sophomore Tymeerah De'Armond (Springfield, Ohio/Springfield) was fourth in 1:00.05, sophomore Abbey Danne (Johnstown, Ohio/Big Walnut) was fifth in 1:01.44, and sophomore Delaney Tackett (Waverly, Ohio/Waverly) was sixth in 1:01.66.
  • Frazier was also part of Wittenberg's 4x100 relay team that placed second in 48.69 seconds. She was joined by juniors Haleigh Willison (Crooksville, Ohio/Crooksville) and Zora Shakhan (Pickerington, Ohio/Central) and freshman Jenna Delp (Canton, Ohio/GlenOak).
  • Willison added a third-place finish in the 100 in 12.69 seconds, and Shakhan was fourth in the 200 in 26.89 seconds.
  • Danne and Tackett were part of Wittenberg's third-place 4x400 relay team that finished in 4:10.64. They were joined by freshman DeYanna Champion (Dayton, Ohio/Early College Academy) and junior Victoria Pipinich (Fort Worth, Texas/All Saints Episcopal).
  • Delp also tied for fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.17 meters, and Champion was sixth in the 800 in 2:29.21.
  • Junior Reese Neumeyer (Whitehouse, Ohio/Anthony Wayne) posted second-place finishes in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.36 seconds and in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:09.19. She added a third-place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 9.90 meters.
  • Sophomore Tiffany Hix (Prospect, Ohio/Elgin) finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.20 meters.
  • Freshman Hallie Haines (Hillsboro, Ohio/Fairfield) finished second in the high jump with a mark of 1.50 meters.
  • Freshman Haley Troy (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) placed third in the 100 hurdles in 16.54 seconds.
  • Sophomore Emma Doerman (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) was fourth in the shot put with a mark of 11.62 meters.
  • Sophomore Ziciah Gibson (Cambridge, Ohio/Cambridge) was fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.45 meters, and freshman Morgan Hunter (Rockford, Ohio/Parkway) was fifth in the 100 in 13.12 seconds.
  • Junior Megan Keys (Dublin, Ohio/Jerome) was sixth in the 1,500 in 5:00.99.
