What are you doing now and how did Wittenberg help get you where you are today?

Currently, I am a Corrections Officer for Greene County Sheriffs. I always knew I wanted to go into law enforcement so Wittenberg opened a lot of internship opportunities for me. I interned with the US Marshals and Springfield Police which I hope to soon be working for.

How did your athletic experience help prepare you for life after college?

Running for Wittenberg has taught me how to be healthy and in shape. I've taken many physical test, I've been in many situations at work that required endurance or physical strength. I'm thankful to have spent 4 years on the track team because everything I've learned on the track and in the gym, I continue to do to this day.

What is your favorite thing about Wittenberg?

Overall, my favorite part about Wittenberg is the experience and memories I have now with the people who have become family to me. The same women I've had the opportunity to run with have become the same women closest to me after graduation. We share so many memories together that we look back on. We all have moved on, working towards our dream jobs, getting married, and having children. We all still talk every day and are looking forward to telling our children about our experiences at Wittenberg University.
