High School
Ellis graduated from Grove City High School in 2012 where she played cross country and track in the OCC athletic conference. In track, she earned two varsity letters (2011, 2012), was team captain (2012), and Most Improved Runner (2012) under coaches Donny Thompson, Jayne Taylor, and Josh blankenship.
Ellis was involved in Nationaly Honor Society, Peer Mediating, Freshman Mentoring, and choir. She was also a STAR award recipient and the Recording Secretary for Key Club.
