Springfield, OH - The Wittenberg women's tennis team hosted the Shawnee State Bears at the Albright Tennis Complex. After a long awaited return to their home courts, the Tigers were unable to stop the Bears, fighting to the end to a final match score of 3-6. The Tigers started strong winning two doubles courts. Ashley Isaac and Freshmen Caroline Sproule fought to a win with a score of 8-2, while Juniors PJ Meyers and Claire Stechow won 8-3 over their opponents.

The lone singles win for the Tigers came from Sproule (6-1, 6-1), ending her day with two match wins over the Bears.
