Tigers Come out with Dominating Win Over Cedarville

Cedarville, OH -- Wittenberg travelled to Cedarville University in a match against the Yellow Jackets. The women's team won 7-0 while the men lost 0-7. The ladies dominated to court, winning their singles in two sets and their doubles in one. Doubles Ashley Isaac and Caroline Sproule won their match 6-0. Isaac won her singles matches 6-0 and 6-2 while Sproule won hers 6-1 and 6-3. 

Junior Claire Stechow was sent into three sets, coming out victorious going 6-1, 1-6, and 10-6. Doubles partners Sidney Purks and Meera Virk were successful in their games, winning 6-1. Virk went 6-3 and 6-2 in her singles, while Purks went into a third set winning the final 12-10.

The Tigers will have their first home competition on their new courts in a rematch against Cedarville Tuesday, September 21 at 4:30 p.m.
