INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — There were no All-American performances by Wittenberg University women's swimmers on Day 2 of the 2012 NCAA Division III Championship meet, but the Tigers still performed well in three competitions.

A day after the 200-yard medley relay quartet of junior Ward McNulty (Glencoe, Ill./New Trier), sophomore Sarah Wilson (Centennial, Colo./Arapahoe), sophomore Molly Gustafson (West Hartford, Conn./Conard) and senior Keaton Hannon (Peachtree City, Ga./McIntosh) earned honorable mention All-America honors with a 13th-place finish, the same four swimmers represented Wittenberg in two relay events. The Tigers placed 26th in the 200-yard freestyle relay and a heartbreaking 17th in the 400-yard medley relay.

In reaching the consolation final on Wednesday, the Tigers narrowly edged out the 17th-place team by less than 1/10th of a second. The roles were reversed on Thursday as Puget Sound's 400-yard medley relay finished 16th in a time of 3:57.11, just edging out Wittenberg, which touched the wall in 3:57.18.

Rounding out the day's activities, Hannon turned in a 29th-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly.
