Coach Robinson Announces 2022 Recruiting Class

Springfield, OH The Wittenberg Women's Soccer Team adds 10 players in their 2022 Recruiting Class.  

 

Chamberlain Browning, from Troy Ohio graduated in 2021 from Troy High School. On the field, Chamberlain was awarded GWOC Second Team, MVL Second Team, MVL First Team, Dayton North Honorable Mention and Dayton North First Team. She was also awarded Offensive MVP in 2019 and 2020. Chamberlain attended Tiffin University her freshman year where she made the Dean's List. She will be joining the Tigers as a sophomore this fall. 

 

Chamberlain is a midfielder and played club soccer for Ohio Galaxies Elite where her team won a State Cup Championship in 2021. 

 

Chamberlain is the daughter of Rodney and Brenda Browning and has a sister, Carrigan.

Leah Rocchetta, a Fairfield native graduates this year from Fairfield High School as a member of the National Honors Society while maintaining a 4.0 GPA and being on Honor Roll all four years. Leah was named GMC All Academic, Academic All Southwest, and Academic Excellent OSA all four years. She placed 2nd in Regionals and States for BPA the last two years and will also be graduating with an Honors Diploma. On the field as a two-year captain, she was named Rookie of the Year, 2021 Defensive Player of the Year, and GMC Second Team.   

  

Leah is a defender for Ohio Elite and is a member of the ECNL Regional League team. 

 

Leah is the daughter of Jimmy and Heather Rocchetta and has a sister, Sofia.

Liz Wile, from Dublin Ohio graduates from Hilliard Davidson High School as a member of the Spanish National Honors Society. She will be graduating Magna Cum Laude Honors this Spring. 

  

On the field, Liz was named a Senior Captain in her final season for the Wildcats. She was named Defender of the Year and All OCC Second Team twice. 

  

Liz is the daughter of John and Megan Wile and has three sisters, Emily (WWS '22), Alivia, and Anna.

Aubrey Leonard, a Cincinnati native graduates from Anderson High School as a member of the Spanish Honor Society and has been on Honor Roll all four years. Aubrey was a two-time state qualifier in Ohio for DECA. She was also awarded SWOHSSCA Academic All Southwest, ECC All-Conference Academic, and OSSCA Academic Excellence both in 2020 and 2021. On the field, Aubrey was team captain her senior year while also being named Defensive Player of the Year. 

  

Aubrey is a defender for Sporting Queen City where she helped lead her team to two league championships in 2021.   

  

Aubrey is the daughter of Craig and Christine Leonard and has 3 siblings, Nick, Kelsey, and Alivia.

Kate Mizer of Pickerington joins the Tigers from Pickerington North High School where she will graduate as a member of the National Honors Society. After being on Honor Roll all 4 years, Kate earn Scholar Athlete accolades her Senior year. 

  

On the field, Kate led her team as Captain her Senior year and was awarded OCC Second Team, OCC First Team, and Second Team All Central District. Her teammates and coaches named her Most Improved and Team MVP at Pickerington North. Kate was also a three-year letter winner. 

  

Kate is the daughter of Derek and Amy Mizer and has a sister, Kylie.

 Alex Hill, from Powell Ohio and Olentangy Liberty High School joins the Tigers as a four-time awarded Scholar Athlete and member of the National Honors Society. She will be graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. Alex was also on Honor Roll all four years. 

  

On the field as captain, Alex was a three-year letter winner and led her team with assists her junior year. In 2021, her team was OCC Champions and District Champions. 

  

Alex is the daughter of Chris and Karen Hill, and has a sister, Mia. Alex's mom, Karen was a member of WWS and graduated from Wittenberg.

Ashley Green, from Lewis Center Ohio and Olentangy High School joins the Tigers as a four-time awarded Scholar Athlete and member of the National Honors Society while maintaining a 3.8 GPA. On the field Ashley was awarded 2nd Team All-Conference and was on the Varsity Leadership Council for two years. Ashley helped lead her team to a District Championship, Regional Runner-Up, and made an appearance at the State Finals. 

  

Ashley is a midfielder for Ohio Premier and is a member of the ECNL Regional League team. She helped lead her team to two ECNL National Playoff appearances with one making it all the way to the Final 8. She also appeared on Top Drawer Soccer ECNL four times as a standout. 

  

Ashley is the daughter of Jay and Lisa Green and has a sister, Meghan.

Carly Shiplett, a Cincinnati native graduates this year from Oak Hills High School with Highest Honors and as a member of the National Honors Society. She was an Academic O recipient and was on Honor Roll all four years. She was recognized for the Scholastic Art and Writing Silver Key award.  Carly will be receiving an Honors Diploma when she graduates. On the field, Carly led her team as captain all four years and was voted by her team MVP all four years. She was named Academic All Southwest and GMC First Team All-Conference. She also made an appearance in the Senior All-Star game. 

  

Carly is a goalkeeper for CUP Gold where her team competed in the National League PRO in 2021-2022. 

  

Carly is the daughter of Jeff and Stephanie Shiplett and has a brother, Carter.

Olivia Kuhner, from Winston Salem, North Carolina will graduate from RJ Reynolds High School where she has maintained straight A's all four years. Olivia is a member of the National Students Honor Society, Tri-M National Honors Society, and National Math Society. During her freshman year, she received the Ben Folds RJR Piano award. Olivia was also an attendee of the National Student Leadership Conference in her junior year. 

  

On the field, Olivia was named All Conference twice, All Region, and Defensive Player of the Year. She was named Captain for her Junior and Senior seasons. 

  

Olivia is the daughter of Ross and Leane Kuhner and has two siblings, Owen and Alex.

Annabel Blum, a Cincinnati native graduates from Cincinnati Country Day School and has been on Honor Roll all four years. 

  

On the field, Annabel was on varsity all four years and was named MVC All Conference Honorable Mention. She helped lead her team to two State Championships in 2018 and 2019, and State Finalists in 2020. 

  

Annabel is the daughter of Rich and Kathy Blum and has two siblings, Abby and Trey.
