Wittenberg University Women’s Soccer Player Bolon Named to All-Great Lakes Region Team

Springfield, Ohio - Senior Mackenzie Bolon (Columbus, Ohio/Bexley) was named to the 2015 All-Great Lakes Region women's soccer second team as voted on by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Bolon put together an impressive campaign for the Tigers in 2015, starting 18 games and tallying three points on one goal and one assist. The defender’s leadership and presence on the field caused problems for Wittenberg’s opponents all throughout the season.

Bolon, who finished her Wittenberg career playing in 74 total games and serving as the anchor for the Tigers defense, was also a first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) selection for the second consecutive season.

Wittenberg finished the season with a 10-6-2 record, going 5-2-1 in conference play, before losing a 2-1 double-overtime decision in the NCAC tournament semifinal.
