Young people will get plenty of shots (not just basketball!) to learn from the best coaches and student-athletes in NCAA Division III in summer 2010.

Springfield, Ohio — As usual, summer will be a busy time around the Wittenberg University athletics complex in 2009. Seven different Wittenberg varsity athletic teams — men's basketball, women's basketball, football, men's soccer, women's soccer, softball and volleyball — are sponsoring summer camps this year.

The men's basketball program is hosting individual skill instruction camps July 11-14 and 25-28, a big man/point guard specialty camp June 17-18, junior high and freshman team camps June 10-11 and June 21-22, varsity team shootouts on June 17 and 19, and varsity and junior varsity team camps June 24-25. The women's basketball program is hosting an individual skills camp June 26-29, a position-specific two-day clinic June 30-July 1 and a beginning basketball clinic June 30-July 1.
