Wittenberg Drop to Undefeated Kenyon

Springfield, OH- Wittenberg was back on Edwards-Maurer Field for their second conference match-up of the season. The Tigers took on the Owls of Kenyon. Wittenberg had a tough battle ahead of them, facing off with a 10-0 Kenyon team. At the end of four quarters the Tigers fell with a 18-3 score.

Highlights- Wittenberg was able to get through Kenyon defense in the first quarter with Grace Hehman getting an assist from Katie Wadds. Hehman tallied her 21st goal of the season. Scoring Wittenberg's second and third goals of the game was Jessica Flick unassisted in the fourth quarter for her 23rd goal on the year. Flick accounts for 27 percent of Tiger goals this season.

Splitting time in goal for the Tigers were Gabrielle Weckerly and Sidney Sheridan. The pair saw 34 shots, saving seven of those. Defensively, Wittenberg picked up 18 ground balls and caused six Owl turnovers. Katie Wadds, currently stands at number two in the NCAA for caused turnovers per game with an average of 4.18 per game.
