Tigers Suffer Loss to the Yeowomen

Oberlin, OH- Wittenberg travelled to Oberlin for a match-up against the Yeowomen. Wittenberg was not able to keep up with Oberlin and fell with a final score of 16-2.

Wittenberg was able to get on the board twice in the second half with goals from Jessica Flick, unassisted and Antavia Horne on a free position goal. The Tigers were able to limit Oberlin to only two goals in the second half but ended the game down 16-2.

Katie Wadds led the Tigers in caused turnovers, knocking the ball away from Oberlin six times and recording six ground balls. Splitting time in goal for Wittenberg was Joanna Stecz with eight saves and Abby Sammons recording two saves.

Up Next: Wittenberg will return to action on April 24th on the road for their final game of the 2021 season. They will take on Wooster at 1 PM.
