Frame Sets Pace For Tiger Women's Golf At Pioneer Classic

Beverly, OH – The Wittenberg women's golf team opened up their spring season from the Pioneer Classic at the Lakeside Golf Club in Beverly, Ohio. The Tigers put together rounds of 359 and 342, finishing with a team score of 701 (+125), earning a fifth-place finish.

Wittenberg was paced by sophomore Ellen Frame, carding rounds of 83 and 80 for a two-day score of 163 (+19). Improving from her day one to day two score, Frame went from T8 to earning a sixth-place finish amongst the field of 65 competitors. Halley McNair earned a top 20 finish for the Tigers, posting rounds of 88 and 86 for a two-day score of 174 (+30) and a 17th place finish. Mazie Reece cracked the top 25 for the Tigers with a T23 finish, collecting a 36-hole total of 181 (+37) with rounds of 95 and 86. Morgan Pagel rounded out the top 30 for Wittenberg with a T28 finish, carding rounds of 93 and 90 for a 36-hole total of 183 (+39).
