Lexington, KY – The Wittenberg Tiger softball team traveled to the Pioneer Classic hosted by Transylvania University where they were set to take on WashU (Mo.) and host Transylvania on day one of action. Big offensive innings from the Bears in the fourth and fifth innings extended the visiting teams lead out to 12-3, before the Tigers were able to put two more runs on the board. Quevedo added an RBI single to right, scoring Elise Freeland and Andersen for the final offensive attack of the day.
