Tigers Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

The Men's Scholar Team of the Year and All-Academic Teams for the 2019 NCAA Division III Cross Country season were announced on Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Pomona-Pitzer was named the NCAA Division III Cross Country Men's Scholar Team of the Year. The Sagehens won their first national title in program history this past November at the 2019 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in Louisville, Kentucky.

Overall, there were 172 men's teams that received All-Academic honors in NCAA Division III.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
