Tigers at Michigan State Invitational

EAST LANSING, Mich.- The Wittenberg men's and women's cross country teams competed in the non-team scoring Spartan Invitational at Michigan State on Friday, the men paced by junior Kevin Frick (Columbus, Ohio/Grandview) and the women led by sophomore Darcy Dubuc (Grand Haven, Mich./Grand Haven).

Dubuc crossed the finish line in 50th place in the tough meet, featuring a number of Division I competitors. She was followed by sophomore Anna Henry (Chagrin Falls, Ohio/Kenston) in 56th place, freshman Biz Goodbarn (Highlands Ranch, Colo./Highlands Ranch) in 82nd and freshman Amy Stamon (Louisville, Ky./Assumption) in 83rd.

Frick's finish came in at 63rd place, followed by junior Andrew Carter (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) in 105th, sophomore Jarrett Cowgill (Worthington, Ohio/Thomas Worthington) in 111th place and sophomore Ryan Hagen (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) in 127th.

The Tigers return to the trail again on Sept. 26 at the Otterbein Invitational in Westerville, Ohio.
