Tigers Fall At Baldwin Wallace

Berea, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger Men's Volleyball team fell to the Baldwin Wallace Yellow Jackets, 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-21). The Tigers battled in every set, outhitting the Yellow Jackets .129 to .114 in the first set.

Leading the Wittenberg attack, Eli Halverson tallied nine kills on 19 swings with just one error, for a .421 hitting-percentage. Halverson added nine digs and three blocks up front to his total on the day.

Michael Yurk and Tom Supan added four kills apiece for the Tiger offense with 15 total attacks each. Supan got up for two blocks on the defensive side.

Sam Richardson tallied 19 of the Tiger's 22 assists on the day against the Yellow Jackets.

As a team, the Tigers posted a .200 hitting-percentage, putting down 24 kills on 70 total attacks.

Wittenberg will return to action on Saturday and Sunday, March 25-26, traveling to Olivet College and Adrian College for back-to-back road games.
