Tigers Celebrate Senior Class During Wittenberg Invitational

Springfield, OH- Wittenberg who is ranked fourth on the women's side (the highest NCAC program) and eighth on the men's side in the Great Lakes Region hosted The Wittenberg Invitational and celebrated their senior class. The class includes Zeke Bennett, Evan Cordle, Ian McCandlish, Dak Smith, Evan Sugrue, Hannah Hayes, and Kara Owens.

Highlights- Wittenberg went back-to-back-to-back in the women's 60m taking second, third and fourth with Zora Shakhan finishing at 7.94 followed by Lindsey Magoteaux at 7.99 and Haleigh Willison at 8.04. Elliott Cameron had an outstanding performance in the 500m taking home a first-place finish with a time of 1:07.74. Also placing first for the Tigers was Ian McCandlish in the 1000m with a time of 2:31.29. Zeke Bennett was able to post a 22.17 in the men's 200m for a second-place finish for the Red & White to finish out the day for sprints.

In field events, JJ Weisenberger took a second-place finish in the men's long jump with a distance of 6.91m in the finals.
