ORLANDO, Fla. — The Wittenberg men's tennis team opened its four-game spring break trip in Florida on Monday with a 7-2 loss to Ursinus.
The Basics

- Wittenberg is now 1-2 all-time against Ursinus.
The Match
- Wittenberg won one of the three doubles courts, as junior Ethan Libby (Loveland, Ohio/Loveland) and senior Kyle Fout (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) won 8-4 at No. 1.
- Junior Mark Trinka (Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park and River Forest) and freshman Henry Smith-Heston (Yellow Springs, Ohio/Yellow Springs) fell 2-8 at No. 2 doubles, and freshmen Jacob Bennett (Pickerington, Ohio/Central) and Sven Van den Eerenbeemt (S-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands/Gymnasium Beekvliet) fell 4-8 at No. 3.
- Trinka was the lone Tiger to win in singles play. He won 7-5, 6-2 at No. 3.
- Libby fell 4-6, 1-6 at No. 1, Fout fell 5-7, 1-6 at No. 2, Bennett fell 4-6, 0-6 at No. 4, freshman Andrew Garofoli (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) fell 2-6, 0-6 at No. 5 and Van den Eerenbeemt fell 4-6, 3-6 at No. 6.
