Springfield, Ohio – Wittenberg University Men’s and Women’s Tennis Head Coach Justin Stuckey is always thinking about his team, even when showing off his own considerable skills.

Earlier this year, Stuckey won the Midwest Sports Speed serve booth at the Cincinnati Masters Series by hitting a 135 mile per hour serve, which is faster than the American professional Sam Querrey, who is currently ranked 34th by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), and two-time NCAA Division I singles champion Steve Johnson. The prizes Stuckey won at this competition have been donated back to the tennis program to help fund the team’s annual spring break trip to Hilton Head, SC.

The prizes include a Wilson racquet autographed by ATP professional Ryan Harrison, who is currently ranked No. 106 in the world, a Wilson racquet strung with Prince synthetic gut, an eight-racquet Bobolat tennis bag, and autographed pictures of ATP and Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) professionals. They will all be raffled off to raise money for the program.

Raffle tickets cost $20 each, and there is no limit on the number of tickets an individual can purchase. Raffle tickets must be purchased by Saturday, Nov. 15, with checks made payable to Wittenberg Tennis. Drawings are set to take place Nov. 19, Nov. 26, Dec. 3 and Dec. 10.

To purchase tickets, contact Stuckey via email at jstuckey@wittenberg.edu or (937) 327-6453.
