Tigers Fall To Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio — The Wittenberg men's tennis team stepped back into North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) West Division play and came away with an 8-1 setback at regionally ranked Denison.

The loss dropped the Tigers to 0-2 in the challenging NCAC West with matches remaining against Wabash and Ohio Wesleyan. Overall, Wittenberg stands 11-5 with eight matches left on the schedule.

After losing all three doubles matches, the Tigers battled back in the singles. The lone victory was captured by freshman Sasha Topolyanskiy (Moscow, Russia) by a straight-set score of 7-5, 6-3.
