HILTON HEAD, SC — The Wittenberg Tigers reached their final Spring Break destination, but Methodist spoiled the welcome party, taking a 7-2 decision.
The Tigers dropped to 3-3 on the 2009-10 season. It was Wittenberg's second loss in as many days to kick off the team's annual Spring Break trip.
The Tigers were swept on the doubles courts and never recovered. Singles winners for Wittenberg were junior Bobby Fisher (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) at the No. 2 position and senior Rob Lehner (Westerville, Ohio/DeSales) at the No. 6 position.
