Tigers Roll Over Curry in Another Spring Break Triumph

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Wittenberg Tiger men could not have asked for a much better start to their 2009 spring break trip. Another dominant performance from top to bottom handed Justin Stuckey's squad their third win in as many days on the trip and a sparkling record of 6-1. The latest victim was Curry, who fell to the Tigers, 8-1.

Junior Craig Lods (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe) took control of his sixth-flight match, not even dropping a game in his victory. Earlier, Lods paired with freshman Stephane Antwi (Rosedale, NY/Monsignor McClancy Memorial) in a doubles win.

Sophomore Andy Lamb (Bluffton, Ohio/Bluffton) also went perfect in his singles match at the fifth level, after partnering with freshman Derek de Rie (Breukeler, The Netherlands/RSG Broklede) in an easy dispatch of their third tier doubles opponents.

The Tigers look to carry the momentum into a match on Wednesday, March 11 against Hood College at 9 a.m.
