Tigers Drop to Second Consecutive NAIA Opponent

COLUMBUS, Ohio - It's deja vu all over again for the Tigers. For the second consecutive match, the Tigers battled point-for-point with an NAIA oppenent before succumbing to the Ohio Dominican Panthers, 6-3.

After three tight doubles affairs, the Tigers found themselves behind 2-1. Brad Seymour (Chillicothe, Ohio/Chillicothe)brought the Tigers level with a three-set thriller in the top flight.

Sophomore Bobby Fisher (Gahanna, Ohio/Lincoln) also took his singles match by a 6-2, 7-6 score. In the end, however, not enough crucial points went the way of Justin Stuckey's men, as the Tigers fell to 9-3 overall.

The conference slate now faces the Tigers, with NCAC power Denison coming to Springfield on Tuesday, March 31 for a 4 p.m. meeting.
