Kenyon Sweeps Tigers In Easter Weekend Action

GAMBIER, Ohio - The Kenyon Lords ran away with a 9-0 win over the Wittenberg Tiger men's tennis team Saturday, as the Tigers could not muster a set against the number three nationally ranked Lords tennis team. 

The Tigers' best chance came in the number six singles set, where Dan McNeely (Beavercreek, Ohio/Xenia Christian)came closest to a victory in 6-4, 6-3 sets. No other Tiger posted more than two points in singles competition, and the closest doubles match was found in the number three spot, where Dave Jenks (Medina, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban) andAndy Lamb (Bluffton, Ohio/Bluffton) dropped an 8-3 decision. Kenyon remains undefeated following Saturday's action.

The Tigers will suit up again on April 1, in conference action at Denison beginning at 4 p.m.
