Clark, Steen Lead Tigers On Day 2 Of Wooster Invitational

Mason Steen posted a personal-best time in the 100 Breast on Day 2 of the Wooster Invitational.

Wooster, Ohio - On Day 2 of the Wooster Invitational, the Wittenberg men's and women's swimming and diving teams continued to perform well with five more personal-bests and time drops across the board for the Tigers.

Wittenberg's women are eighth as a team with 275 points. The leading scorer was sophomore McKenna Clark (Waynesville, Ohio/Carroll) with more than six seconds of time dropped across three different events. Clark posted a time of 2:03.61 in the 200 Free to place 11th, 1:05.57 in the 100 Back to finish 18th, and 30.07 in the 50 Back as the lead leg of the 200 Medley relay that finished seventh.

Also of note for the women were freshman Rebekah Lebold (Mount Vernon, Ohio/Mount Vernon) in fourth place in the 1-meter diving and freshman Sophie Paskiet (Toledo, Ohio/St. Ursula)  in sixth place in the 100 breast in a time of 1:08.37.

On the men's side, sophomore Mason Steen (Leroy, Ohio/Riverside) dropped more than five seconds from his season-best time of 1:00.42 during the prelim of the 100 Breast. Later in the day, he repeated the time with a 1:00.80 to finish 14th.

Senior Zach Parkman (Lancaster, OH/Fisher Catholic) finished 11th in the 100 Fly in a time of 52.80, and sophomore Drew Vincent () went a personal-best 24.01 in a time trial of the 50 Free.
