Oberlin, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers took a tumble on the road at Oberlin, dropping a 77-67 decision. By the end of the night, the Tigers were in a flat-footed four-way tie for first place in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) standings with six games left to play.

Wittenberg, which lost to Oberlin for the first time since 2014, fell to 13-6 overall and 7-3 in the NCAC, while Oberlin improved to 10-9 overall and 4-6 in the league. The Tigers are tied with Denison, Wabash, and Wooster for the top spot, with DePauw just one game back at 6-4.

Trey Killens (Cincinnati, OH / Mason) had another big offensive game for the Tigers with 26 point. Eddie Brown (Lewis Center, Ohio/Olentangy Orange) added a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out late in the game.

As a team, Wittenberg made three more shots from the field and hit at a 50 percent clip for the game. However, the Tigers were just 1-of-14 from three-point - after shooting better than 50 percent in their last two wins - and Wittenberg was outscored at the free throw line by 10.
