Springfield, Ohio - A breakout season for Cameron Harrison (Eaton, Ohio/National Trail) continued as the junior guard poured in 30 points to lead Wittenberg men's basketball to an 81-67 victory over visiting Ohio Wesleyan.

The win was Wittenberg's sixth in its last seven games as the Tigers improved to 13-5 overall. More importantly, Wittenberg remained at the top of the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) standings with a record of 7-2. The Tigers came into the game tied with Denison for first place. Ohio Wesleyan fell to 4-5 in the league and 7-11 overall.

Harrison had a phenomenal shooting day, setting the tone from the outset by hitting his first three three-pointers of the game. He kept it up, finishing 11-of-16 from the field and 8-of-12 from three-point range to cruise well past his previous career high point total of 18. His eight three-pointers were just one shy of the school record of nine shared by Lou Stahl in 1999 and Chris Sullivan in 2011.

As a team, Wittenberg made more than 50 percent from long distance for a second straight game. The Tigers topped their season-best three-point shooting performance by making 15-of-26 shots, good for 57.7 percent. Jeff Queen (Cincinnati, Ohio/LaSalle) had a big game with 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including 4-of-7 from three-point range, and Trey Killens (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mason) did outstanding work offensively as well with 11 points and nine assists. Also of note, Eddie Brown (Lewis Center, Ohio/Olentangy Orange) did tremendous work on the boards with 13 rebounds, including seven at the offensive end.

The win gave Wittenberg a season sweep of the Battling Bishops. The Tigers won the first meeting between the two teams 85-80 in overtime on December 2.
