Holland, Michigan - The Wittenberg Tigers jumped out to a 10-1 lead to start the game, but the host Hope Flying Dutch used their size advantage to great effect from that point. Hope evened things up with about five minutes left in the first half and pulled away from there for a 67-57 non-conference victory.

The loss dropped Wittenberg to 7-4 on the season, while Hope improved to 5-2. Wittenberg has a quick turnaround after the long road trip back to Springfield, with the Tigers' next games coming Tuesday, December 19, and Wednesday, December 20, in the Holiday Classic at Pam Evans Smith Arena.

As he has all season, Trey Killens (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mason) sparked Wittenberg's offense with 25 points, and he also added seven rebounds and three steals in the game. Killens was the Tigers' lone double-figure scorer, as Jeff Queen (Cincinnati, Ohio/LaSalle) was next with seven points and Cameron Harrison (Eaton, Ohio/National Trail) and Daniel Asher (Indianapolis, Indiana/Roncalli) added six points apiece.

Hope won the rebounding battle 40-30 in the game. The Flying Dutch also shot much better, making 44 percent, compared to 36 percent for Wittenberg.
