The 17th annual D3football.com All-Region Teams have been announced, with Wittenberg's own senior defensive tackle Mike Knock earning Region Four Second Team accolades. Knock is the 34th Tiger to earn the D3football.com All-Region award. Coming off an First Team All-North Coast Athletic Conference campaign, Knock tallied 54 total tackles, tied for second amongst the defense.
The Senior out of nearby Springboro disrupted the opposing passing efforts, logging 6.5 sacks with 13 total tackles for loss. On a defense that came up with a lot of takeaways in 2021, Knock was part of two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, along with a pick-six on the road against the Wabash Little Giants.
