The Wittenberg University men's & women's golf programs are proud to call The Varsity Golf Practice Room in the HPER building home to offseason indoor practices. Simply known as "The Golf Room," the facility allows student-athletes to hone their swings in one of two indoor cages, while hitting off mats designed to simulate the feel of the golf course and to absorb impact. Golfers also are able to use the large, golf-specific putting turf to keep their strokes sharp throughout the offseason. Whether hitting full shots or working on their short games, Tiger players also are able to capture their swings on video and play them back on the in-room monitor. The Golf Room also houses training devices and equipment for the program, thus allowing the team to tweak their swings and develop their core fitness.

Currently, the Tiger golf programs are in need of a title sponsor who would be willing to make a financial contribution that will allow for much-needed improvements and upgrades to the facility, including the purchase of multiple swing cameras, incorporating V1 swing analysis software and adding contour and definition to the putting surface. This is a great opportunity for a Wittenberg golf supporter to be linked forever with the program. Please contact Head Coach Jeff Roope at (937) 327-6463 to learn more about naming rights opportunities for The Golf Room.
