Jim Logue, a 1962 graduate, is one of the leading golfers in Ohio history. Logue was the golf team captain and MVP all four years at Wittenberg and set six course low score records. He won one OAC title and was three times runner-up. Twice he was runner-up to Jack Nicklaus in the Ohio Intercollegiate Championships. After Wittenberg, Logue was three times a member of the PGA Cup Team that played against Great Britain and Ireland, and in 1980 he won the Ohio Open Championship. Logue is a golf professional at Brookside Country Club in Canton, and has been honored as a leader in his profession by Sports Illustrated as the Golf Shop Merchandiser of the Year.
